Mother’s Day was a great day for photography, plenty of light with occasional clouds. Anya and her cousin Mickey were having a blast running in their Aunt’s huge backyard and I was able to pull out some real gems. I was using the 55-200mm zoom, which is not a very fast lens, but I had pretty good light most of the day so it really wasn’t an issue. The zoom helped to catch some of those moments that I would have missed if I was shooting with the 35mm prime. Spent quite a bit of time in Lightroom 3 working on these images and I think I am in love with that program for photography development.
